Does everyone have a seat at the table?
Is it right that everyone needs a seat at the table and you need to respect their differing opinions if you are a liberal or “woke” person?
Though it of course depends on the circumstances, and the universalist in my wants to say yes .
The activist in me wants to say no - I have a red line and if you cause hate, harm, or suffering to others it is a no.
In truth, this is the balance we all have and face in all our positive and negative interactions in life, it is part of humanity making these decisions.
It is not for me to answer this question for you, but to say that however you chose or choose to answer this question - know that I am here for you - not to judge but to be there with you.
I am here to support you in your relationship with your own concept and definition of the Divine (whether that’s God, the highest moral good value in your life, or the universal spirit of life and love).
In practice this means we need to do one thing and one thing only - be love in the world, be light in the world - if that means being the brightest version of yourself to overcome the darkness, or it means radiating love to others - so be it. Stand tall, live free, and love all…always.
