Who am I?

My name is Kieren, and I am proud to be a Unitarian Ministry Student & Minister-elect at a chapel in Derbyshire (located in the beautiful East Midlands of England). In my new fledgling ministry, I have a particular focus on cultivating inclusive, equitable, and loving theology that resonates with a clear and heartfelt message of tolerance, respect, and deep consideration for all individuals. My theological outlook is transcendental, where I actively encounter divinity in the everyday world around us, drawing this essence out to share with others. Additionally, my approach is deeply narrative in its outlook—making space for the unique stories of people and creating moments of silence to truly listen and understand their experiences.

I have carefully built this welcoming space for those individuals who can’t or simply don’t want to attend a traditional chapel setting. I understand, from personal experience, that many people can carry trauma or discomfort when it comes to conventional religious environments. It is important for me to give voice and acknowledge that, and I wholeheartedly want you to know that this will not be that kind of space. My aim is to provide a nurturing and supportive atmosphere where everyone feels safe and valued by the words I share here.
